The Speedliner has achieved a speed of 532 km/h (330.7 mph) on the salt lake at Bonneville, where most speed records are controlled, October 11, 2009.
The “car” is equipped with a Cadillac V8 engine developing 200 horsepower.
The absolute speed record has been far exceeded with vehicles equipped with an engine jet.
